I have not had the time to go fishing since last weekend. I was wondering has anybody found any fish this week.

I tried the crappie a couple of times this week, and they were still holding on any type cover in 4'-10' of water that was close to the shallow spawning areas. I could catch 4 or 5 fish at one spot, or sometimes only 1 fish to a spot, a couple were still black males. All were decent fish.

I think there will be some type of mini-spawn right where they are at during the next full moon, which is the 23rd or 24th of the month.

Last weekend several of the fish I caught still had eggs. The eggs were a darker yellow though. Maybe the wind will lay after the front moves through and I can get out there and find some.

Pops is correct this will be the last little bit of spawning on the coming full moon so get em while you can.
