i have had a set of culumrite scales since 1998. they are very accurate and i have not had any problems with them in 10 years. i would highly recommend them.
I went to an office supply place and bought a set of scales like postal scales that weighs to the .001 place.
I don't use scales. If I did, then I might have to lie about my big fish. I ain't no liar.

postal scales are what most of the tourney fishermen I know use. like Bill says, down to 1/10 of an oz. thats 160th of a lb. more accurate than one what ways in 100ths of a lb.
well postal scale's is prolly what i will go with...are there any trick's or any modification's you make so that the fish will stay put. do you use a container and tare it off of the scale. or just lay the fish right on the scale and wait for it to quit shaking and wiggl'n...guess i could alway's use double face tape to hold it still:D thanx guy's for your input. i appreciate it!

how accurate do you need the scales to be?if your in fishing contest where 1/10th makes a difference then the postal deals may be what you want,,but if it is just recreational fishing then the Berkley ones are fine,,they have 1 for about $40.00 that comes with marker tags and also will keep track of the total and also will tell what the lowest fish is for culling in fishing contest's,,, jmo

I suggest shoving a couple- or 3 One oz. egg sinkers down fish's mouth, Stops him from flopping around Quick................Today, 04:52 PM
