Wink Piece of Cake...scratch that...I meant Humble Pie!

Thanks guys! I am happy with the finish, but 2nd was a huge let down to me at the same time too. With only 2 events left, the only possible team that could of knocked us out of 1st place this year, had to gitter dun @ Shelbyville (my partner's home lake). They couldn't come to CAST's last Spring event at Rathbun(mine). In order to make it mathmatically impossible for us to recapture 1st place, they had to take both 1st place, and big fish there too. The Thompsons found the right 10, and did just that. Those two guys are some tuff ol' birds to whoop! Beat us up in my partner's own back yard they did! SZAllRite!! They better watch out for us at the Classic! The fat man's lookin fer sum payback'ns!

Big bites & full baskets to all! Remember to leave some of the males on their beds too though for our kid's sake!

Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get. You are happy with your finish as you should be . Sounds like you and your partner had a year to be happy about. I wish you success and happiness at your Classic.

Thanks Wayne & Ted. Big G., I have never wet a line in that water, but have drove by it many times. My partner fished it a few weeks ago with limited success. My sources tell me that 1.5lbers are being caught there pretty regular lately. I am confident we will find some good fish there, God willing.

Congratulations, Rippa.....And good luck at Oologah! Keep us posted.

Qualified and going to Lake Shelbyville in June for the Crappie USA Regional Classic. You said that you had a tough time there, but if there's anything you feel that will help us there, pm me.
