    Default SPOT - emergency location beacon


    Has anyone had any experience with this unit. I found it at http://www.findmespot.com/ExploreSPO...Messenger.aspx

    Seems to be a little security for those of us who normally fish by ourselves. It also would give our loved ones some comfort.

    Any comments?

    Don't know anything about them but looks like something to carry no matter where you are. Car or boat.

    I participate in a lot of long distance motorcycle rides. My wife won't let me out the garage without taking it now. It's a small price for a huge amount of peace of mind.
