Default How do I rig this thing?

    Hello everyone...

I'm fairly new to Crappie fishing. Mind you, I grew up using a bamboo pole. Anyway, I bought a Cabelas Classic Crappie Pole the other day. Its a 10 footer. I does not have a place for a reel. Just some line keeper clips. Here's a picture. Can somebody tell me the right way to rig this. Do I just tie my line to the end or are teh line keeper clips to be used in rigging. Thanks everyone.

I rig mine directly to the eye on the end of the pole. I usually use about 6lb mono and make sure the line is no longer than the pole itself.
When you collapse the pole you can wind the line around the clips for storage.

Wink There are several ways ....

to do this, depending on how you intend to use this pole. Here's some previous threads on this subject :

Choose however it suits you :p
