I would like to see some underwater video of crappie. How they relate
to cover , how they feed. Anybody seen anything like that ?

I've seen a ton of underwater bass video, surely there is some
    crappie footage out there.

some one needs to put a brushpile web cam out there. Going to
have to be someone else, my lake you can see about 2 feet.

You can learn a lot by observing the crappie in the Cabelas tank. I learned that crappie butt their nose against a tree trunk. Since their eyes are to the sides, it makes sense. Now, they can see to both sides of the tree.

Also, note how a crappie's eyes are near the top of their head. They can see up but can't see down. So, make sure you keep your jig or minnow above the level of the fish. If you have your offering even two inches below the crappie, they will not see it.

While night fishing under lights, watch the crappie as they attack a minnow. Most turn sideways (90 degrees from their normal position) as they suck in their prey. Not sure how that knowledge helps with catching them, but interesting none the less.

    siscoken--
Very nice video, I would like to see more. Interesting that catching
one out of the school seems to not spook the others at all.
In one sequence I saw a fish spit out the jig and a second one take it and
get caught. I bet that happens a lot and we anglers don't have a clue.
