    Default Floats-N- Hooks!!

I was cleaning out a old garage and found these floats and hooks in a box.
Has anyone ever used this type of float. The hooks are Carlisle Aberdeen and are packaged by Glen L. Evans,Inc. in Caldwell,Idaho. There are also hooks in the old pill box.

Given away my age, used them all in fact teeth on them.

Suggestion: get a fishing collection book they might be worth
    few bucks.

You might want to check out that pill box too. I imagine it was before the early 40's because no one would have used a swastika after that. Also, 60 cents was pretty high for something like that in the 30's. Must have been pretty good stuff.

    Dr Edwards' Olive Tablets tins

    The package face did change.
The tablet is a vegetable extract laxative.
The "Olive" is in reference to the color of the tablet, not what it's made from.
Calomel, which these tablets "replaced/were a substitute for" is Mercurous Chloride.

As for the hooks/floats ... I've seen the hooks (and probably used them, at one time) and the long float, but not the round floats. Probably more sentimental value than cash value.

I got one of those long floats last year out of an old tackle box too. Along with a some old lures. First I have seen of the round bobbers.

Thanks for the feed back guys.. I find it interesting to think how items like this were used and how many hours of fishing were spent with the bobbers.
