I heard on the radio today that the average angler goes fishing 22 times a year. Just wondering if you are above or below the average. I feel thats a little high not sure were they got the vote. I`m well below the average. How about you all?

just checked my calendar, tomorrow will be 65 days this year, a little more than i usually average for this time of year.

I have to say that I am above that average. Sometimes I go fishing two or three times a week.I guess my average would be about 50 times a year on the water. Maybe more.

I'm on the water 55 to 70 times a year. That's not near enough!

I would say that I am above average.
How Do you could a weekend camping trip? Does that count as one or three, Fri., Sat. and Sun.

Or if you fish in the morning at one lake then go to a river in the afternoon, one or two.

Just having fun with numbers. any way I need to get out more

It probably doesn't count since I'm "working" but I'll be on the water well over 300 days this year.
