    Default Reelfoot Gills

I'll be headed to Reelfoot Lake in early June. Where and how should I fish for the big Bluegills? Thanks.

As you might know, Reelfoot is home to the huge bluegills. Fish shorelines, grass, cypress trees, etc. There is also standing cypress trees in open water also. You can also fish lilly pads and duck blinds, these are also great spots.

U can fish with either crickets or what I normally use is a grizzly jig topped with a waxworm. Most of the time, I use a black skirt with a red head. I normally use a regular split shot and bream bobber on a fly rod. They are lots of fun. Hope this helps you out a little bit.
