    Default Red Hot SI pic

One of our "bucket bombs" landed right at the bottom of the point. Tired looking at all the blue SI pics, so I jazzed it somewhat.

Paul, you one heck of a bombardier.

    I just don't see it.

Cane Pole, take a minute for a dummy like me and explain what I am looking at. I normally see the pics that have a dark black "void" in the middle and I was told that represents the depth of the water. Wider the void, deeper it is. Is that correct?
Also, in this pic, there is no middle void. Were you just scanning to one side? And if so, is the void never there when you scan to one side or were you just really shallow in that pic?

Also, what did you drop, it just looks like a bunch of orange light to me? And, where is the point? I certainly couldn't tell you there was an underwater point by looking at that pic.

I don't mean anything towards YOU, it's ME!!! I just want to learn about this SI as much as I can.

Thanks so much and post all the pics you can of SI!!! I need em!

Ok, i kinda see the point now coming from the right side of the screen to a very distinct point at the left. Is that it?
So then my question would be, what did you drop at the end of the point and why can't you see it more detail? It SEEMS it would be hard for anyone to tell what that is unless they knew. That would be disheartening as I truly thought the SI would clear up a lot of unanswered questions about what I am fishing.
Thanks again, I'll shut up now.:D

You meant Side Imaging, I thought it was going to be a red hot Sports Illustrated swimsuit pic!
