    Default Help or advice on catching minnows


    Bought a new minnow trap and tried it out the other night baiting with bread and only caught 1 minnow leaving it 24 hrs. I know there are minnow there I have seen them as well as on returning home from all my fishing trips I dump the ones I have left in the creek. Does anyone have another type bait they use to attract them? Thanks Tenncrappie

    Dog food is good bait for minnows.

    Also, the water softens it up nicely so you can eat what the minnows leave behind .
