    the BEST BBQ in Missouri is the ckuck wagon south of Clinton across from Pro's choice on 7 highway!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

    It is obviously personal preference, If you want around truman then the vote for chuckwagon, they do have good food. The cobblers and pies are really good too.

    o pappy your a passionate guy when it come's to bbq i take it... in that case i think kc masterpiece sucks:D guess it's better to argue bbq than politics and religion...pappy you been to every place in the great state of missouri i'm assuming? chuckwagon does get my vote, that's it i'm moving to clinton:rolleyes:
    why do today what you can put off til tomorrow, go fishing instead!!!

    Shoot the best came off my smoker today. HEHe Had Boston butts on it, 6 rabbits, 5 lbs of bologna. and 5 lbs of sausage.
    Then 10 lbs of chicken.. Fed 50 this evening. And will feed 60 next weekend.

    I gotta agree with KCMO CRAPPIESLAYER... I think KC Masterpiece sucks. I may be a newbie at crappie fishin', but I'm a BBQ connoisseur! Here's my top five:

    1. Gates BBQ - "Hi, may I help you?!?!?!?!" Gotta love it!
    2. Smokehouse - Especially the original one on N. Oak.
    3. Zarda BBQ - Their ham and their ribs are fantastic.
    4. Oklahoma Joe's - Their pulled pork is awesome.
    5. My own! - I've been known to smoke up a killer pulled pork shoulder or beef brisket.

    I love to BBQ!

    Obviously there's alot of opinions as to what constitutes great barbecue. Speaking for myself, I LOVE barbecue. It sounds like several of you are mighty good at Qing. Maybe we should consider a "Q-off" at fall crappie camp. I think it would be pretty easy to find judges. Whaddayathink?
