    Default Pushin cranks

Got a great report from my older brother who has spent the last few days in Mississippi. Let me know that he had caught more 10 to 11 3/4 inch crappie in 9 total hours of fishing than he has in the past 2 years on Truman. The only problem was the 12 inch length limit. Total keepers at 43 in the 12 to 16 inch range. That many crappie in a short period of time spider rigging crank baits sounds like you hell of a good time to me. Glad to hear he had a good time and hope that he does not get spoiled. Maybe he will get down here to Truman and show me some of tricks.

It sounds like he had the same experience we had a couple of weeks ago. I have alot better luck pulling cranks than pushing them. (although I caught one of my biggest off of a down rod crank.) I seems like everyone of us fishing that weekend caught 5 shorts for every keeper. The new twelve inch limit on the big four down there gets tough sometimes. I've had to throw back some really pretty crappie that would have easily been keepers last year.

This is the most used brand and size I would say. So many colors.

I use a lot of #4 and 5 shad raps in rattle suspending, glass shad raps and regular ones. As for colors black/silver blue/silver green/silver and purple in the glass shad raps.

Yep they are the same thing. I use Bandit 300's and 200's almost exclusively.
It'll suprise you how big of a bait a crappie will hit. Plus it weeds out the smaller fish.

What's the difference between the 200 and 300 series? I've seen the but haven't paid much attention to them does on dive deeper that the other, or is on larger than the other?
