crappie are biting real good at this small consrevation lake in n.e. mo. been getting a limit pretty regularly the past month or so. not too many big fish but some good eaters, biggest ones are about 12 inches and we have only been gettin 6 or 7 out of a limit of 30 at that size, lot of 9 inch fish but it is close to home.

I caught a 13 in crappie and a 10 in redear my first time there. Since then, the crappie have been smaller, but they bite good and often.

About a month ago, my 4 year old son fell off the boat dock between the slips there, we jumped in and got him safe and sound, but scared the S*** out of me.

I really enjoy this lake, not real busy, and the fish are usually biting.
