I went fishing for Catfish this morning and they were biting. Caught a limit in a very short time. They bit almost as fast as the rain poured down. Needed a bar of soap cause I got a good shower.

If legal in your state or on your lake, small crappie make excellent cut bait for channels or a live crappie makes a good flathead bait. As for soap, I have found Gojo that has orange in it makes an excellent soap to take the fish smell from your hands after handling fish.
I usually have my Frogg Toggs in my boat for the rain. Some of the best fishin', especially catfishing, is in the rain. But, I am never on the water in a thunderstorm.
LOL that is good. When the bite is on I don't care if it is raining or not. Well one time up in Alaska when it was fishin in the rain and the hill behind me started slipping. Enjoy your dinner.
