    Default Strike King Shadalicious


    I bought some 4.5" Shadalicious swim baits..They keep getting torn every time i use them..what hooks or jigs should i use for these? i was just using an eighth ounce jig head as that is all i had in my crappie tackle...thanks for any help you can give!!

    The 5/0 Lake Fork Swimbait Hooks should be perfect for that size.

    I fish mine on a fish spin head.It has a willow leaf blade and I think the flash of the blade helps.I guess it is a little different that is why I like it.

    I like the Lake Fork tackle hook because of the various sizes they have in them in...i normally take out the spike on the Lake Fork hooks and replace them with the screw locks (hitchhikers) i think the hitchhikers hold better.

    your going to tear them up thats jsut a given...what you can do is glue the heads or tear up...Huddleston makes a Glue thats called Huddlebond that works awsom for this dries quick and isnt super hard like normal super glue is...you can get it online at some of the various tackle stores like Tacklewarehouse and so on
