Any pole beyond three is considered a bank pole by law as long as it has the Name and Address. No Phone Number is required. Just don't use more than 33 hooks.

I was reading about Spider Rigging, and came across this Quote. In Missouri, Edgar is also limited to three rods by law, but can add more to his rod holders if he puts his name, address, and phone number on the rods and uses fewer than 33 hooks.
Is this true? What's your opinion? Has anyone done this?

To be safe, I took a paint pen and put my name and address on all of my poles.

Good Idea Chris, I usually write my name on all my poles as I got so many grand kids, need to tell my poles from theirs. I will just add the address.

I usually get those pre-addressed sticker labels in the mail for envelopes-works good for me.
I either make labels on the computer or use the freebie return address labels. Apply the label to the rod, then cover it with that clear, heavy-duty shipping tape. Lasts for years! We have every rod we own labeled. :p
I have a whole bunch of those Trout Unlimited address stickers.
I will put them on and put the clear tape on them.
You know, this is almost too simple. Like a good Engineer I was prepared to think it to death.
Thanks guys
