I bought one last year, used it once, didn't like the heavy draw on my batteres, bought some green fluorescent ones. I like them better. Only use .6 amp/hr, ut jury still out whether they attracted much more than small fry "guppy" fish.
Didn't want to hi-jack anyone elses thread..... I've got (somewhere) one of those floating type lights (like a 12v floodlight in a styrofoam float). Bet I've had it 10 years, never used it. Does anyone still use these with any success?

Yes the floating lights do work, also have not seen no difference in green and white lights in my fishing. I do like the submersible lights better they stay where you put them in the wind
Sounds like it might be worth giving a shot then. I'll have to find it, I have no idea of the wattage bulb in it. lol, my last boat I ran 3 batteries, 1-starting, 1-trolling, and 1-lights/electronics.....for some reason I have a "fear" of running out of power
Glad I'm not the only one, TreedinNC. Wife gives me crap about it all the time. While she's standing knee dip in sewing junk in "HER" room.
