    Default Cachuma 7/6

Another banner day at Lake Cachuma! Jorge and I stopped at forty fish, averageing one pound plus today. All fish released, and caught on gitzit's. Find the shad, and they are there. Mikey

nice fish. I'm new to Cali, coming from North Mississippi (holy grail of crappie). Where is this lake and can you give me any advice for the central coastal region (Monterey)?

By Santa Barbara, about a 30 mile drive towards SANTA YNEZ. It's about 4 1/2 hours drive from Monterey. Check Western Outdoor News paper for lakes by you. Hope this helps.
