We fished Saturday evening from about 5 to midnight and caught 13 keepers and a lot of shorts. The keepers were no doubters between like 10 1/2 and 12. The weekend before my buddy caught a 14 1/2 incher that went 1lb 2 ounces.
Good job guys!

Pitching jigs, catching slabs, life is good
I'd take those 10-12 inch fish all day long. They are the best eating IMHO. Good job

WTG sound like a good day.
Where were they? Last week, there was talk of a "2nd spawn" ... Fish on the banks again. How deep were the ones you found? I'm hoping to get out Sat eve. or Sunday a.m.
Last weekend I found fish on the edge of the channel drop in about 15 to 18 ft of water fishing 9ft deep also I found them where the channel swings close to the bank on the drop off in 10 to 18 ft of water fishing 9ft deep. I don't know about that second spawn thing but all the females I caught had eggs but they seemed to be srinking they weren't full of eggs like they are in the spring. Hope this helps.
17-20 feet and about 10' down fishing tree tops was above w bridge, also found some scatted around the trees, had some that had eggs, never tried close to the shoreline, good luck I will be back out Monday.
