Changing line on vintage reel

Does anyone on the board know how to remove the spool on a vintage Wright & McGill model 88 Stream and Lake reel?

The reel has been in the family for a long time so I don't want to break it.
It hasn't been used in about 25 yrs and needs cleaned and the line replaced.
