I've used Panfish Assasins this year for the first time. Starting in March, I caught fish with them right off the bat, and still do.
Used them under a bobber with a fluorescent jighead early, and lately have been skipping them under docks or jigging deep.
    Great lure

I've had the best luck with them in cold water, late winter and early spring, thats at Truman Lake, Mo. Best color, salt and pepper, Arkansas shiner, opening night.

Thumbs up My choice for dock shooting

I'd almost hate to know how many Crappie have been caught on these baits, by just the guys that I know that use them :p
I first learned about using them (and dock shooting) back in 2000. For the 5yrs that we had the Spring/Fall Watts Bar Crappie tourneys ... dock shooting with these baits probably accounted for 60-75% of the fish caught. And I still use them.
They are an integral part of my offensive lineup. Along with CrappiePro's 1.75 inch Solid Body Tubes, and Roadrunners, they are the baits I begin with, on most every trip.

I ordered a mess of them from Grizzly Jig and the electric chicken has been a
the only one I've used, and it's a great crappie bait.
    I'm sold on them.

I too love them and electric chicken has been my best color too. The 2" curly shads are also very good. But I too would like to say as did monk to try the bobby garland baits. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are very soft and super glue will not stick as well as the panfish assassins. Blk/pink has been my best color lately.

I agree 100%. 2"baby shad unbelieveable. Best soft bait i've ever used for crappie or bass(caught all the time by accident).
