    Default Bluegills on poppers

Me and Ben got got for some tubin saturday afternoon. the bite was kind of slow, mostly small fish.
Ben had to leave early and I was too tired to back up and hit a different lake, so I stuck around and got my flyrod out and tied on a popper.
That was the right choice, and I started getting some good gills, when it got later in the day they really started going, I had a topwater strike on almost every cast!

Mike I checked out your pictures and really like them, way cool. Is the water a little cool for a float tube? Of course I'm warm blooded and won't go into water that is cooler the 90 degrees or I turn blue. I like the idea of GEM also and wish you the best in helping get kids on the right track early in life.

Sweet pics, sweet ministry! Keep going Baron. Bought fly rods last year for my son and me to try to round up a few gills on "poppers".
