    Default They are still biting

We went down to the Bumpus Mills Campground for a couple of days. I really wasn't expecting to catch any crappie since it's almost July, but I took the poles and some minnows anyway. Me and the wife went out yesterday morning for a couple of hours and caught 12 nice ones. We went back out late yesterday evening and caught 12 more. They all came from along old creek channels in 13-18 feet of water. We tried them again this morning, but they weren't cooperating as well. Only caught a few.

Here's a photo of the ones we caught yesterday morning.

Quality beats quantity anyday to me. Looks like you got some quality slabs there.

It's good to see you have a fishing partner that gave up her yard sales just to be with you! :D

I'm with ya on the quality beats quantity thing. I'd rather get 10 14 inchers than 200 9 inchers any day.
Good things come to those who bait.
