Default Why I use Side Scdan Sonar...

All timber is not created equal.

Fish today were deeper than usual.

Large school of big Crappie and they were hungry.

Submerged tree (nothing showing on the surface) with big Crappie @ 24'.

School of Crappie off the timber about 25'

School of big Crappie tight on one tree at 24'.

I found all of these fish today using the side scan sonar. Not sure if I would have found some of them with regular sonar.

Now if they will just stay put until the next tournament???

    OUTSTANDING!
Sure wish my HB 727 with wideside worked that well, but I only have $300.00 in it.
Mine isnt color and cant take snapshots. I think mine is more difficult to learn to use successfully but I'm still positive. Hopefully I'll learn to read the thing instead of just seeing junk LOL.
    Thanks for the pics

That is what makes that a great unit. So many people do not use the unit for all it can do. I run mine like that all the time. And find schools of fish. That most people will not even see.

Had mine over a year in june but I just don't live near lake so don't get out much.
