I LIKE that! I've been thinking of a way to get both kids up front
and involved in spider-rigging this fall, that looks like the ticket.
I don't even need to be able to reach the rods, just the net and
minnow bucket
Here is and idea for you who want to fish more people up front.This is the way I fish three people in the front of the boat(two and myself).I like to have everyone in hands reach.There is times I do fish people in the back of the boat but I really like this setup for three.

I'm a guide and that's the way I've been doing it for years. It puts everyone in the front of the boat over the structure that you're fishing, if you're in the back seat you're 15 to 20ft away from the fish. I put my customers in front of me and run the trolling motor from behind that way I can see everything they are doing and make sure they're doing what they need to do to catch fish. I fish out of a bass boat and this system works very well weather you spider rig or fish BP's. I'll try to post some pics later.
