Never caught any in LOZ but caught lots of them in Pome.
Caught about a 9 1/2" blacknose crappie off my dock last weekend. First and only one I have ever caught out of LOZ. Are there a lot of them in LOZ? Anyone else catching them?
Mike

My fishin buddy caught one several years ago while we were fishin around the glaize bridge,i caught a 12" while beagle and i were fishin around park place winter before last (released),my partner caught one that was about 4" long up above carnes early this year and hooked the poor little feller so deep that it killed it and i caught one that was 13" below the dam a month ago so they are there just not many of em.

Mr. Baker,
Interesting, did not know they were here. Have caught them in Arkansas but never on my end of this lake. Will have to keep a watch for one.
Thanks for the information.

Pretty neat, Mike. I remember Bugs catching a few (as he said) but hadn't heard of others.

I released mine as well. Wonder if they reproduce readily? Don't know much about them. Do they generally run larger, smaller or about the same size as whites and blacks? Is it a good thing to have them in the lake? Should we leave them in when we catch them or take them out?
