Default Both eyes are done now & Thanks

As of yesterday morning both my eyes are now cataract free. The only problem now is time to go by for better vision. First mine will improve a good bit over the next 2 days and then the near will be better in a week or two.

The worst part is one of the meds I take make them need to put an extra drop in my eye and that makes it stay dilated for a few days. I will be happy when this part is over.

Not bad though. I use my magnifier tying anyway so that still works now, but maybe will not even need it as much after this is over.

Thanks to you that helped me with knowing what to expect and actually it was easier than I ever thought it would be.

I had mine done here while back I could see good close for a while and then it got worse I can see a nat at 500 yards tho they told me it would be like that I hate having to use reading glasses but anything is better than seeing just about nothing

Skip, plan on buying a pair of sunglasses, you will need them. The brightness is something to behold. You'll see, when you do.............I told you so.:D

Had mine done 5 years ago, and to this day need sunglasses a lot of times, more so than the average person.

POLARIZED glasses Skip! That's what helped me A LOT after laser surgery on both my eyes to repair torn retinas. I am glad you are feeling better. The Crappie do not stand any kind of a chance now! Skip can see every move and twitch of the jig. I pity the crappies because they are heading to Lake Crisco. Take your medication and don't over do it man.

Hey Skip glad everything went OK. In the last 6 months I've had one cataract surgery and the worst, surgery for a detached retina plus a laser surgery 2 weeks ago to remove scar tissue from the retina surgery! Not fun at all and a long recovery which has seriously hampered my fishing this spring. While my vision is somewhat diminished it's better than nothing when the retina first detached. I guess we all take our vision for granted until something happens to affects it. Oh , the sunglasses are a must like everyone says. Good luck and good vision.
