Yeah gooch, I was raised fishing Mississippi river runs. I live South of Little Rock and my sons are in Memphis and I'm t rying to find a plce we can meet in the middle.

Peckerwood is not in the middle but sure wouldnt be a bad drive from Memphis.

Yes Joe I fish Old Town Lake, but only in March and first of April. I wore their butts out in March. They seem to like minnows best, but you can catch them with jigs also. You just have to be patient. Seems they liked black and chartreuse best there, For me anyway. Tipped with a crappie nibble. I like the catfish there, 2 pounds, a good eating size. The reason I like the lake is you can get out of the sun there.

Where do you live Joe? Maybe someday we can meet up down there.
