    Default crappie nibbles

anybody have good luck with crappie nibbles? they seem to fall off of the hook too easy and after they get wet they are gone. any other brands out there that work better? maybe i'm not using them right.

let the lid off of them so they dry out a bit. I prefer them on the hook actually gives the jig most times another color and I really like the sparkle nibbles maybe the sparkles on the hook attract them. Early this spring sparkle nibbles on a tiny jig caught more gills than live bait. I tried both and nibble/jig got lots more bites. I was fishing them under a bobber though and it really depends on how you fish with the nibbles as with anything. If casting and retrieving they wouldn't last long on the hook.

Just let them dry a little and don't push them on PAST the barb and they will stay on a little longer. Like the others I use a bait pump tube jigs and on the hook for hair.

I looked at the bait pump, it appears that it crushes them up as it squeezes them into the tube body? am I correct with that, or does it just stuff the nibble up in the cavity??? Also, has anyone used some of the paste type attractants with the pump??? Just curious, as I am going to be ordering a pump myself...

    Thanks in advance.

Them little boogers will work you want to tip youre hook and let the water solidify the bait. whats known by many as crappie candy can make the differance in bringing home the bacon. Theyre are alot more anglers that use them than what you'll here about!. This will create a fish atracting smell or trail this helps during slow periods when fish especially gills like to swim up on your bait!* if you have a aqua view or camera you'll know what i mean. Hopes this help's
