Default USE a cut off Q-Tip in your tube jig

I have been having a lot of nice luck lately fishing a tube with a cut off Q-tip swab pushed into it. Trim the Q-Tip to just about where the tube tentacles are. Use an insulin syringe to "inject" your favorite liquid scent down inside the hollow tube on the Q-tip. The scent flows down the tube and into the cotton imbeded in the head of the tube.

Skin hook the tube head through the cotton and back out just before the tentacles. Use the exposed hook. (The tube should now be riding level with the hook.)

Tubes stay on the hook longer and you now have a nice scent trail in the water.

Be sure to use the full Q-Tip stick to push it up into the tube. It slides a little easier if you moisten it with saliva (spit) first. Once the Q-tip is inside the tube you can trim it to length.

I get them all the time without a prescription. I have a diabetic dog and he has to have shots 2 times a day. They will ask you what you use them for however, it's some of the new drug disclosure/privacy act.

My mother in law is on insulin. I just asked her for one of hers. Fits nicely in the tackle box. Pour some of your favorite liquid attractant from Wal-mart into a small vial that fits into your tackle box and you're set. Draw it up into the insulin needle and shoot it down the Q-tip. I was going to spend big bucks on a bait-pump before I started using this! Works better IMHO and your tubes don't tear up as fast either with that "Scented" wad of cotton on the tip.
