Oh yeah...I was skeptical at first too. Bought a pack and though man these are really big. So I got some of the smaller 1.5 in ones and did not have much luck. I was out fishing standing timber one day and ran out of minners and so I put one of the 2" on to see what would happen and bam! 15" right off the bat. Never stopped using them since..I primarily use them when dippin trees and the pumpkin and chart has been the best color for me but also the blk/chart and blk/pink have worked well.

Same for me, if anything I think that the 2" work best in dark or muddy water. For the most part I think that they do catch bigger fish, but what is most surprising to me is how hard they thump it, and there are lots of times when smaller tubes and slab hunters will get you a lot more bites. Don't forget the nibble, Good Luck!

I just started last week using them, and in the muddy waters of Truman Lake they outfished all other bait, no nibble,no minnow just beaver tail and tree to dip, bam fish on .

I thought they were kinda big also until i dipped one into a tree top on Enid and a 2+ pounder slammed it. After filling a cooler with slabs, I was sold.

I like to use the under a float and twitch them really hard the falling action drives them nuts. Also troll with them tipped with a minnow in the fall.

I have been using them for a couple of years now. First read about them right here on this site. 1 1/2 and 2 inch have worked the best for me. I have tried 3 inch but no luck, but I did catch a small mouth with it. Carolina Pumpkin and Chart. Have been my best color. With the beaver tail run it flat. If you use the curl tail, tail up has work the best.
