A little help from the weather will help get things started for us this year. The boats are ready to launch this week and we are looking forward to another great year of fishing. With the changing weather patterns the fishing has been day to day, the brown and lake trout are being caught trolling along the shoreline from 8-15 feet of water. A few reports of some king salmon in 30 feet of water, but with the cold weather there have not been to many boats out yet. Silver and blue spoons and green and silver fastracks seem to be the popular colors. New for this year on the Willie Bee, Capt. Chuck Zahn will be working with us. Chuck has been fishing the area for a number of years and has spent time first mating on a number of boats in the area. Look for our latest fishing updates coming up soon and good luck out on the water.
