Looks like supper to me. WTG!!!
Went out again and caught a mess of Black Crappies. They aren't as big as you guys catch back East but they are plentyful. I'm using a slip bobber set up with two tube jigs. Depth has been around 4ft. Colors that I am using is black and chartruse, red/white or pink and white. I use a 16oz. jig. I'm fishing off the bank in about seven feet of water. How do I know the depth, a couple days ago I was fishing out my little pontoon boat. It's nine foot long a one seeter.

Nice mess Ken! What part of the country do you live?
yea, can i come with you next time? :D
[QUOTE I use a 16oz. jig. .
Man that 1 lb jig must really bend your pole. lol Just kidding that was a typo right ? 1/16 th oz jig ? Great post. Here at Lake Nimrod we catch some good sized White Crappie ,but most of the Black Crappie are small . Must be the dingy fertile waters favor the Whites? The Blacks tend to do better in clear less fertile waters according to what I've read.

Nice catch Ken, in S.C. with the water temps in the high 80's and with the drought we are not seeing many big fish caught right now, so it is good to see a nice mess of crappie, congrats.
