Just Kicking Around A Hair Brained Idea

What if there was an annual tournament for guys from this board and whoever else wanted to come? What if this was both a fun tourney and a money tourney? What if we could get a huge turnout? Where would it be held? When would it be held? With the kind of contacts that I know people on this board have, i bet it could put some of the other points and sanctioned tourneys to shame. Lets say $50.00 a boat, pay out top ten places. Extra $10.00 big fish. Hearing lots of feedback wanting a fun tourney, but a tourney that pays. Just thinking out loud. Trying to come up with something.

I have basically quit fishing tournaments, but I will fish them for fun. Especially if it were with grils and guys from the board! Some fine people here and without a soical event of that nature, you might never get to meet them. Count me in FB.

A lot like Tommy, don't fish tournaments anymore but would come and help out with the chores just to get to meet some folks.

The seniors are the ones that always seem to win Don. Without you, I wouldn't have caught a single fish on Watts Bar. So I don't believe you need a handicap. LOL

Sounds like a heck of a deal , I think it'd be hard to keep centrally located for everyones benefit though .....now to opt out of that it could be a yearly "traveling tourny " ...

Start centrally located ...... then have a vote on the next State to have it in .... remember it couldn't be in the same State twice in a row ......

That would always open up some new water for those who don't get outside the State lines much to fish , and give everyone the chance to get together without driving halfway across the USA .

Just my buck 2.50 and a half on the subject ..... but I like the idea !!
