    Default Trolling Motor??

I'm in the market for a new trolling motor. I want to upgrade to a 24 volt 70# or more thrust. What's the best TM I can get for $800 - $1000?

I'll 2nd Minnkota... any of the Maxum series... I have a 74lb thrust model (new ones are 80). Don't know about the auto pilot. If most of your fishing is in or around timber, you won't see the benefits you would see trolling on open water. (Gotta dodge them stumps).

Thanks guys. I had already settled on a Minn Kota. I think the Maxxum with lift assist is what I'm leaning towards now.

Outta check out Rogers in Liberty. They are usually cheaper than BPS or Cabella's
There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

Minn Kota is the way to go Bob. I have had a 12 volt and a 12/24 and liked them both.
