    Default Beautiful day at Bucksaw

Nice gentle breeze, lots of sun, warm, and no snakes, too bad the crappie weren't biting better. But partner and myself did pull 22 of them out if the trees, one here and one there all on jigs dipping around treees. 8 to 10 ft. mostly on black and chart. some on orange and chart. and a few other colors mixed in.

NICE! I figured the rain would shut them off. Glad to see you were able to catch some.

Nice going, Bobber. That's what I love about Bucksaw. There's always a chance of a good day. I'm trolling motor shopping this week. Hope to be back on the big water next week.

718.9 and climbing fast. 3 day forcast shows 721. And more rain coming. If it keeps raining you may have to duck going under bridges.

I am all for them holding it at 720 for a few years. Fishing has been great the last two years during the floods. It is always muddy here anyway so that has not bothered us. The more it rains the less boats there are to dodge on the weekends. I think a few of us are getting pretty good at catching fish in the rain now. It is Thursday and they are calling for some good rains and storms tonight. Fuzzy I think the streak of rainy Thursdays is starting again.

I love the rain, wind, and muddy water. Gotta love the midwest in the Springtime.
