Hey, Tom.....those crappie are some fickle creatures, have had an affair with them for years. Seems at times when I need their company they're nowhere to be found and may be gone for long periods at a time, doing who knows what!! I need someone more....uh....sensitive? I guess I need to be more in touch with my "y" chromosome so that I can be more understanding. :D And in spite of their long absences they come back and expect to pick up where they left off. Free spirits, but I can't help but love 'em. Can't trust 'em, Tom....now they're whispering sweet nothings in your ear. Soon as they get all your minnows, they're gone to look for another fisherman!

That's too funny. I was just thinking today about when I got home I was going to post that I can't get no love from no crappie. When I fish alone and I'm not catching any I do all kinds of stuff like talk to myself, talk to my dog, and think about what I might post to convey the message that fishin' sucked today. I had 5 keepers. 4 about 10 1/16" and one about 12". Caught a few fiddlefarters but it was slooow and the wind was cold and water was muddy. Water temp dropped 5-6 degrees from the last time I went. Good fish weren't where they were last time.
