    Default Trolling motor batteries ?

On deep cycle trolling motor batteries does the higher the Amp hour rateing mean the longer the motor will run ? For example, will a 125 Amp hour battery run a motor longer and stronger than a 75 amp hour battery to a noticable amount or are they more or less equal ?
    -Thanks

You betch'a... A pair of Trojan 225's are a favorite with the bass crowd for runnin' and gunnin' all day. Look for the "Reserve Capacity" rating. There's a great "everything you ever wanted to know about batteries" site. I'll try to find it and post the link if someone doesn't find it first.

This wasn't the link I had in mind BUT it has the information you want (and LOTS more).

    Default another good source

I run two optima D31M blue tops. Gell cell technology/sprial wrap 100% lead core, and added beni is non-spillable.

    YES... more amp-hours = longer run-time.
Make sure it's a deep cycle battery and get yourself a "smart" charger. You'll lengthen the life of the battery.

Those gell cell batteries are the stuff. Ive got a couple freebies given to me from a routine change out from a cabel company. They have to change em out occasionally just because. Theyre great. The ones I have were used as a backup system for when the power goes out at the cable company. Best batteries Ive owned.
