    Don't know about the rest of the country but here in Kentucky we are being taken over by the 17 year invasion of Cicada?? Think these things might be good bait for anything biting? Gotta be good for something other than eating the trees and making noise!

    They work great fof catfish 4 or 5 years ago when the other cicadas were out so much I would take several kids from the campground out and used heavy line we would sight fish for carp usually they're spooky but for a few weeks they would fly to those bugs.Just threw them back but the kids had a fight that they would remember they had a blast and would each catch till they would get tired!

    They're supposed to be great catfish bait and I believe you can freeze them.
