Default My Gosh it is hot outside

I went to the water just to cool off. It was too hot to even fish. It was still 95 degrees in the shade under a tree on Logan Martin. The 'gills loved it though. I did pretty good (32) on them. Crappies were in deeper water. I got enough for dinner (7) before retreating back to the comfort of the shade tree. Time to get under the a/c and chill. I sure have a sun tan now. :D:D:D:D

Congrats on the fish, I don't believe I will fight the heat right now. Looks like we are in triple digits again today, I think this is about 4 days in a row. For me it's not the heat that's so bad it's the humidity, we usually don't have much humidity, but after the rains in the last week it's a little steamy.

Be careful my friend. I heard that Indiana, Ohio and Pennsylvania have had some violent thunderstorms and tornadoes in their neck of the woods all week. Stay off the lake when it is lightening!

    Later dude!

We've hit 104 the last 3 days. Weatherman made me feel better when he said with the 28mph wind, the chill factor was 102. I can fish in the heat, but this is the most days of 25+ mph winds I ever remember!!! Been that way all year! Guess this winter I'll be wishing for some of this heat, but I won't miss the wind.

Ship, Man you are SO right about the heat! BTW.. love your tan

There are only two answers to fishing in the heat....

    1. Fish at night

    Or this one...
