Default Warning for Humminbird SI owners

If you haven't downloaded the Humminbird Update for your SI unit....DON"T. The update will disable your ability to use the YellowFin program and several other things that need to be resolved. The old version is best for now.
    Good fishing.

I am buying a 997 this week. What is Yellow Fin? Any additional suggestions?

    Thanks

YellowFin is a free program for you computer. With it you can play your recorded scans on your PC. Larger screen and better detail. A really great program.

You need to download the HBSI file converter and the YellowFin file.

I take it this is the 4.180 version,(for 997 only) as I have not as yet done the upload. Thanks ever for the info, I will be holding off doing the update.

Ernest, Thanks for the info on that, but I have another question for you... First off, I love the DVD you sent me. It is absolutely a great thing and I have watched it at least 7-8 times. Usually when I want to go fishing and can't for one reason or another I break it out and live vicariously through your fishing antics... Plus I learna little more each time I watch ti too... So, my question is: When is the second edition of your video series coming out, I have seen a bunch of folks on here asking, but have not seen a reply yet. We all want to know.

    Thanks,

I don't know for sure. I may combine fishing with in-depth instruction on Graph reading and the new side scan operation and interpetation.

I fixed my SI problem by going back to the 3.94 version of the software.
    Good fishing.
