I have a bucket of the 3" leaches that I haven't tried yet. I am going try dropshotting them and/or just hooking them and jigging them like I would a senko that's texas rigged. I'll let you know how they produce.
You guys tried these yet? They are the ones that come in a bucket full of goop. I absoluetly love them. I throw them on silver jig heads and catch all sorts of stuff, not just crappies and other panfish as the bass and pickerels will readily gobble em up too

I've been getting the regular gulp packages of the 2.5 inch minnows. Its the exact same product. They are cheaper that way and easier to pack. You get 18 minnows in a package for $5.45 from FishUSA.com. The small buckets are nearly 4x as much, and you are mainly paying for the bucket and the juice. They say a pint is equivalent to 3 bags of gulp.

Good things come to those who bait.
Foxy are you useing the 3" ones?
Can anybody say the Gulps are that much better than tubes or other plastics? I've put the gulp minnows to the test (3 or 4 years ago), but honestly couldn't see that big of a deal with them. Actually caught more on regular tubes.
If I Ain't Crappie Fishin', I'm Thinkin' About It............
Apparently the mixture in the bucket "recharges" used minnows with scent. I might have to try it out.

Now that I have used the ones in the package I have found that they wear out before recharging them really helps. I do occasionally remove one from the jig hook when I'm done fishing and put it back in the bag. There is enough scent in the bag to recharge those. The convenience of the bag outweighs the advantages and the extra price of the bucket and the extra juice to me.

Any more progress reports on the Gulp Alive?

i like taking my crappie jigs and soaking them in the gulp juice.. helps a ton and is actually better then using nibbles to me.
