Default Been Pulling a Few Off Our Trotlines

The Father-in-Law and I have been pulling cats off of the trotlines we have out consistently. I doubt it slows down anytime soon. The lake we fish is not huge, and is not public, but produces decent cats. Enough to keep us full and happy! :D

Froman, why not use a pole ? Catfishing is more fun that way . Nimrod is full of Channels, they won't leave my Crappie jigs alone this week. We will target them in a couple of weeks over baited holes.

I can't wait for driving directions to the private lake you're fishing and the GPS coordinates for the trotline

Yes I also have a lot of days my wife and I can and have caught 100 lbs on rod and reel. And not over a baited hole. And that is in 3 hours.
But for fish frys. WE have a lot of them. That is takes 75 lbs of cleaned fish to feed them. And I like trot lines for those fish frys.
