The weather this spring has messed them up pretty good. I recall last year it was the second half of May before the spawn really got going - well after the dogwood blooms.
Maybe, just maybe, we'll start seeing warm days that come more than one at a time. This weekend was something else. Cold & windy Friday and Saturday, a little better Sunday, and hot on Monday - back to cold today.
