    Default bass minnows vs. crappie minnows


    i thought of something on my problem trip. http://crappie.com/crappie/showthread.php?t=67508

    i was using bass minnows and i know they are a little bigger but i was wandering if by using them if that may be the reason i had such crappy luck that night.

    i usually get two different sized minnows

    bass minnows are bigger

    It could depend on natural forage in your fishing water. Here the Crappie feed much of the year on big Shad so Bass Minnows work great.:D

    Where I fish crappies I never use minnows.
    Hair jigs or micro plastics always produce.If you bait is too big you may have issues.

    If I use minnows it is always, always bass minnows.

    on the rare occasions I use minners, I use fatheads. Good for crappie, perch, and bass.
