Might want to check your connections before buying one. I have a Lowrance 480 and thought my transducer was bad, turned out to be a connection. One speck of corrosion on one prong is all it takes.

Clean with alcohol on qtips. Significant corrosion, sand lightly with fine sand paper. Careful not to bend the prongs.

    I like buying from threeriversmarine.com

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

which one do you want? My book calls for a couple models. If you want the20 dgr skimmer that mounts on the transom I can get you one of those for around $45. Thats my cost, not trying to make a dime on it.

The one with temp built in is a bit more.

    Lemme know.

Thanks for the replies. Found a new one HST-WSU on Ebay. Will try the cleaning with qtips, also.

Kman, Thank you a lot for the offer!!

    Tony,

I think I have one on my old t/m. Don't need it anymore. I can make sure and send it to you no problem... Let me know.
