    Default Where to spider rig?

I am planning to try spider rigging monday am. I will be on the tenn/tomm in aberdeen. Should I go south of the lock and fish along the banks of main channel or go north and fish stump flats in the lake?? Any other info would be great, never done this before.

You might want to go to the TN board and ask.

channel ledges and flats are good places to spider rig. If there are stumps on flats in water 8 feet or deeper, that is where I would go. If it is shallower than that I would use 16 foot rods to get out away from trolling motor and boat.CF

Thanks CF. I know of several stump flats that are in the 7-8 fow range. Would the fish be most likely to suspend or on bottom??
