    Default off the banks

Ok--I got a question. When the crappie have left the banks, what is the best way to locate and catch them?Would spider rigging along the creek channels be the way to go?I'll take all the advice ya'll can give me.
    thanks

    Default Off The Banks...

....try trolling the main channels...when they have moved off the banks, fish will use the channels as a means to move from one area to another...watch your fishfinder as you move from the banks to the main channel...you'll see them stacked up in the deeper water...try trolling with curly-tailed grubs or flies tipped with minnows...good luck....

I have had some luck trolling small crank baits, ones that only run about 8 to 10 ft deep.my favorites are the hot n tot and bandits. Not to many small fish, but some nice slabs.
