    Default 5/19 in east/central MS

The 7 biggest of 22 keepers I caught this morning, don't know if you can tell but the 3 on the right are males with their spawning colors still on, pretty late to me. biggest was almost 15". Green was the hot color, 7-13 FOW.

This was the hot one yesterday but they did bite the orange one pretty good too. Electric Chicken seems to have lost it flavor. What gets me is the fish still seem to be in the spawn mode or at least just leaving it. The males were not as bright as last week but still easy to tell. And the depth is all over the chart. I was by myself yesterday and I use those times to experiment and explore for new places so I was all over the lake and found fish just about everywhere I went. Now these were places I have caught fish in the past so I'm not too surprised about that. This is the 1st time in 2 years the lake is at the level is should be, 2 bad years of low water so some of the places I tried have not had enough water to try for a long time. I know I will never figure them out but it's fun to try. Threw all but 12 back yesterday and when I get home find out I have to provide fish for about 26 kin this coming Monday so that means I will have to go back again, oh well somebody has to do the hard work.

Haven't used it as is but after a lttle touch up with a sandford sharpe I have. Do you have good luck with it? What are your best colors? I like electric chicken, orange/gold shiner, salt & pepper, rainbow trout and pink diamond. Some days that pink diamond is hard to beat. The only bad thing about panfish assassin around here is they are hard to find but I have a lot on hand now from a couple of orders.
